For millennia the cold weather and long nights of winter have drawn humans closer into community for survival and celebration. This remains a social need - one that can be ignored and overlooked in busy, independent lives.
This evening and day of dancing and music will bring us together to come alive to ourselves, each other and nature as the days begin to lengthen.
Guided by Rachel and a group of skilled and sensitive musicians we will weave together improvised music and dance to warm body, heart and mind. You are very welcome!
If you are dancing on the Friday evening and want to stay onsite overnight ready for Saturday, please tick this registration option.
Earlybird Voucher: We will send dancers registering prior to December 10th a £10 coupon for any of the summer 2025 season dances.
Resonances Band: Keith Mills, Cath Reding, Joss Clapp, Geoff Bartholemew
Keith is a renowned and published composer and bassist (Tales from the Shed, Carnival of Crows), Cath is a trained multi-instrumentalist who plays with Shipcote&Friends and many others, Joss is a guitarist with Tarras, The Kathryn Tickell Band, Winterville, Geoff is a jazz trumpeter who works wih Jilly Jarman and others in the NE.

Staying overnight is an option when we have weekend dances. You can stay overnight in the hall, camp in the grounds or in your van for £10 per night. This also gives you access to the kitchen, showers and toilets. Make sure you tick the 'staying overnight' option when you register.
